We’ll talk about considerations for choosing plants, accessorizing your terrarium, and successfully caring for it. Then we’ll turn you loose on a container of your choice to plant your very own terrarium!
Bring Your Own Container:
You’ll need to bring a container along to design your terrarium in (or more than one, if you like). A few important considerations:
• Your plants need light so your container should be clear
• A lid is optional. Any reasonably enclosed container will work for the style of terrariums we’re building.
• Make sure your hand fits into the opening of the container. (It’s possible to create a smaller terrarium, but more difficult.)
• Good options for containers include mason jars, aquariums, fishbowls and apothecary jars.

The class costs $15 per person, which covers the basic supplies like soil, moss gravel, and other fun stuff. Plants to be added to terrariums are $3.50-$7.00 each. (One or two plants are plenty for small containers, maybe 3-5 for large containers.)

Reservations are required–all major credit cards and Paypal are accepted via the PayPal link. Space is limited!
