Who knew red cabbage could so easily be made so good.
Ingredients

- ½ lb bacon
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup Concord grape juice
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 cups shredded red cabbage
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
- Add sliced onion to bacon fat and cook until softened.
- Add vinegar, grape juice, salt, brown sugar, paprika, and cabbage, simmering until most of the liquid is evaporated. The cabbage should be tender and there shouldn’t be a lot of liquid at the bottom of the pan. Place on a serving platter and crumble with bacon.
