Your September Full Moon in Pisces Horoscope 2024

September’s full Moon falls in Pisces, the sign of the two fishes. These fishes, tied at the tails, are depicted swimming in opposite directions in the night sky. While Libra often gets labeled as indecisive (a misunderstanding, in my view – Libras take time to consider options but expect others to see things their way once decided), it’s actually Pisces energy that embodies the struggle to choose a direction. This dual nature is great for imagination and exploring various possibilities, but it’s not ideal for quick decision-making or situations requiring immediate action.

What Does September’s Full Moon in Pisces Bring?

During this full Moon, Mercury and Saturn form a tight opposition. This yearly occurrence will likely affect the mutable signs – Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces – most strongly. However, all signs will feel its impact to some degree. This alignment may challenge your ideas, beliefs, and routines as you encounter different perspectives. You might experience a wave of pessimism overtake you, or the acute pressure of mental stress. Finding agreement with others could be tricky. To navigate this, focus on listening with attention, considering new approaches, and finding common ground through open and honest communication.

If you’re looking for guidance on handling this aspect, think back to August 2023 when Mercury and Saturn were last in this opposition. Your experiences then might offer useful insights for the present.

On a brighter note, Jupiter and Venus are in a harmonious trine, which helps lighten the overall mood. Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) will likely feel this positive influence most strongly. Gemini, Virgo, and Capricorn might also notice a gentle boost, as these planets activate important areas of their charts.

Your Full Moon in Pisces Horoscope: September 2024

Aries

This full Moon illuminates your 12th house, Aries, casting light on aspects of life typically hidden from view. It’s an invitation to step back from the hustle and bustle, allowing yourself a moment of introspection. Don’t resist the urge to retreat and recharge; it’s a vital part of keeping pace with life. You might find yourself grappling with feelings of exhaustion or overwork. This could be exacerbated by communication mishaps or bureaucratic red tape, as Saturn and Mercury form a tense opposition. Try not to let these temporary challenges dampen your fiery spirit, because your astrology is bright this period overall. Intimate relationships have been on an upward trajectory lately. If there were recent bumps in the road involving unfulfilled promises, someone’s shown commendable ability to forgive and move forward. This resilience in your personal life will serve you well as you navigate the now.

Taurus

Social themes take center stage now, Taurus, as the full Moon illuminates your 11th house of friendships and people who support you. Issues that have been simmering beneath the surface are now coming to light, demanding exploration and resolution. The building opposition between Saturn and Mercury suggests complications in reaching agreements or finding easy solutions with those you usually rely on. These disagreements are inevitable, so it might be wise to ease up on expectations during this full Moon and allow situations to unfold naturally. Jupiter in your 2nd house is preparing to turn retrograde. This shift might put some monetary goals on hold, so it’s prudent to prepare for potential delays or reassessments. Use this time to reevaluate your financial strategies and adjust your plans accordingly. Temporary setbacks often pave the way for more sustainable progress in the long run.

Gemini

As one of the mutable signs, Gemini, you’ve faced your share of challenges lately. This phase will pass, but there’s still a month to navigate. The full Moon in your 10th house brings tensions and dramas to a head, particularly in your professional life. Saturn and Mercury’s tight opposition, highlighting your 10th and 4th houses, suggests work-related conflicts or disappointments visible for all to see. Communication channels may be affected, as well as information networks, if you manage these in any capacity. Watch for problems creating an imbalance between your public and private life. The good news is that this period sees you brimming with creativity and ingenuity. Allow events to unfold naturally, and let your adaptability be your strength. You’ve got it within you to find clever solutions to the situations at hand, so lean on your innate problem-solving skills as you navigate the next few weeks.

Cancer

This full Moon finds you in a bold mood, Cancer. Mars in your sign (something that only comes around every 2 years!) imparts a newfound assertiveness that might surprise both you and others. If you’ve been job hunting, promising opportunities may present themselves now, as Mars rules your 10th house of career. However, with Saturn and Mercury in opposition, clarity on contractual matters is obscured. Avoid enrolling in new courses of study, soliciting advice (from lawyers, therapists, astrologers and tarot readers, and religious clergy), or signing important deals until after the new Moon on October 2. Should a job offer arrive, consider setting the start date for the week of October 7. Venus in your 4th house suggests rewarding experiences await in your home life. Invest some energy into family connections and domestic matters, like a fall cleaning or a gregarious dinner party.

Leo

This full Moon finds you in a favorable position with respect to communication and messaging, Leo, which is a nice change of pace. Venus in your 3rd house, recently trine Jupiter in your 11th, suggests strong, congenial support from trusted sources. However, the Mercury-Saturn opposition, highlighting your 2nd and 8th houses, signals potential financial challenges coming before you. With the Moon in your 8th house of borrowed funds, expect issues with accounting details or large debts coming due. The good news: your overall financial situation is more ‘put together’ than it’s been in a while. Start tackling obstructive debts systematically. Avoid new loans or contracts until after the new Moon on October 2. Your networking skills are heightened now – consider organizing a social gathering or reaching out to influential contacts. If you strike it right, this period can balance financial recalibration with social opportunities.

Virgo

This is a pivotal month for you, Virgo, with both the September 3 new Moon and this full Moon activating your 7th house of intimate relationships. Saturn’s opposition in both lunations suggests obstacles, delays, or increased responsibilities in partnerships. You might be uncovering a partner’s misstep or facing a challenging impasse. Reflect on events from September 2023 for insights, as you navigated similar terrain then. Your career shows more promising prospects currently. While personal matters settle, focus on areas of growth in your professional life. Your analytical skills are even more heightened now – interpersonally, that is likely to be turned into hypervigilance, so consider applying them to a work project or a goal that doesn’t involve one-on-one time with someone else. Your sense of discretion will help you balance relationship challenges with career opportunities, and somewhere between these you will find the most rewarding outcomes of the month.

Libra

Things have been looking up for you lately, Libra. Venus has been touring your sign for the past month, which has done wonders to help you get back to center. There was a recent trine between Jupiter and Venus which suggests that you’ve benefited tremendously from some good advice, counsel or guidance that you received. Things look like they’ve become more competitive at work, like a new upstart has come into town, looking to shake things up and take over. If not someone new, certainly a new vibe has entered the room, and it’s not cozy. Don’t get caught up in the tumult, don’t get caught up in the gossip or the drama. You should feel confident in saying what you have to say, and doing so in a way that brings you both respect and admiration. Your innate ability to maintain harmony in turbulent times is your greatest asset this month.

Scorpio

It looks like a friend is going through a hard time, and you’re in the right place to help, Scorpio. Your friend is navigating a world of details, and what they need is some firm advise to stop rationalizing things that aren’t working. We need to see big picture, even if big picture means we must let something go. Your planetary ruler, Mars, is touring through your 9th house. Have you been considering travel lately, or some activity meant to broaden the mind? I think it’s time, but Jupiter is stationing retrograde in your 8th house of debts and monies owed, so be sure to take the economical path. In a few days’ time, Venus will be moving through your 1st house, and romance should open up for you. If you’re single, time to mingle! If you’re partnered, plan something special – it’s the right time for it.

Sagittarius

What a social period you’ve come into lately, Sagittarius! It’s great that others have had a chance to experience the exuberance that you bring to the table. I know the last month has had its awkward moments, and while the coast is starting to clear, one more hurdle presents itself. Mercury, ruler of your 10th house of career, is meeting the opposition of Saturn in the 4th house. This could materialize as a conflict between your inner and outer worlds, your work life and home life, or perhaps represent a professional aspiration coming up against blocks and obstacles. There’s nothing you need to do except wait this out, so take a deep breath and take inspiration from your ruling planet, Jupiter. The ancients used to comment on Jupiter’s ability to find a way to take advantage of any disappointment that crossed its path. If you can adopt that way of thinking, some good times are ahead.

Capricorn

I suspect you’ve been on the right side of recent career developments, Capricorn, and knowing you, I’ll have made the most of it. I’m also seeing some indications that you’ve been improving your diet and daily wellness routines, which should stave off burnout. (That said, keep your eyes on warning signs that things are getting a little too wellness centered – it is possible to have too much of the good life.) One piece of advice I must share: this isn’t the time for unplanned international travel, nor is it ideal for signing contracts. Mercury and Saturn are opposed to each other in your travel and contract houses, and Mars is in the 7th house which can indicate destinations of journeys and people you go into contract with. I’d wait until after the new Moon on October 2 before engaging in activities like these, if possible. (If not, contact me and we’ll find a safe window.)

Aquarius

Let’s talk money, Aquarius. You’ve had Saturn touring your 2nd house of finances for some time, and every so often a configuration comes along that triggers a scarcity mindset, or reminds you of your own financial limitations. This full Moon brings one such trigger in the form of an 8th house Mercury. If you have debts, now’s the time to face them. If you have been borrowing, or relying on the financial support of a partner (romantic or professional), consider whether you’re showing an appropriate amount of gratitude. In February 2026, Saturn leaves Pisces for Aries and you’ll find cash flow will come easier and with less awkward hassle. Until then, keep expectations realistic and you should be fine. You have excellent social indications at this time, and later this month, Venus will move into your house of career and lubricate a few hinges so your ideas can finally take off.

Pisces

You’ve got incredibly good astrology for creative pursuits, Pisces, especially if it involves themes of heat, water, and motion (cooking easily comes to mind). Time to learn something new! If you’ve made a mistake recently, don’t shy away from making amends. Face a hard truth, listen to whoever’s asking you to be accountable by choice. This full Moon falls in your first house and is likely to bring a swell of emotion, perhaps even a fair bit of confusion as to what it is that you’re feeling. Things should clear up for you by the coming new Moon on October 2, and that period augurs improved rest and relaxation, and as Venus is preparing to move through your 9th house, your sleep should bring sweeter and more refreshing dreams. It might also be the right time to start thinking about your next international vacation.
